麻豆AV is a special place to live. It’s a city with a beach on the edge of beautiful countryside, just an hour away from central London by train and 30 minutes from London Gatwick International Airport. 

We have a real affinity with our city; 麻豆AV is a place that looks at the world differently. Our city is independent and inclusive, attracting all kinds of people often united by a commitment to positive change.  

Its reputation for fun goes without saying, but it’s also known for being forward-thinking – it leads the way in arts, creative technology and the environment.

Accommodation

We understand how important it is for international students who are away from home to live in a safe and friendly community. 

We guarantee all of our study abroad students a place in halls of residence on one of our three campuses. 

Living in halls of residence is one of the best ways to meet new people and settle into university life. You’ll be sharing apartment style housing with other study abroad students and live in a close-knit community with 麻豆AV students. The halls are managed by us, which means that they meet our standards.

The UK has a rich cultural heritage. Get to know our country by joining fully-organised field trips to UK cities, historical landmarks and places of interest. 

We book and organise everything on your behalf so that you can concentrate on enjoying the trip. We also get group discounted prices that we can pass directly onto you. These popular trips are budget-friendly, and a great opportunity to see new places and get to know other study abroad students.

London

This day trip to central London during your induction week is a fantastic opportunity to explore the UK's capital. Our walking tour includes Buckingham Palace to see the famous Changing of the Guard, Trafalgar Square, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and other historical landmarks, plus shopping at famous department store Fortnum and Mason. 

We have a lunch break at Leicester Square, and you have the option to stay in London for the evening after the walking tour finishes. 

East Sussex

This day trip by coach will take you off the beaten track to scenic countryside and historical landmarks close to 麻豆AV. 

Our trip includes Beachy Head, the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain form where you can admire the Seven Sisters cliffs; the picturesque village of Alfriston, with its characteristic cobbles streets, shops, cafes and houses dating back to the 13th century. Finally lunch in a traditional countryside pub in Chiddingly.

Bodiam and Rye

Day trip by coach through the beautiful counties of Sussex and Kent to Bodiam Castle, a classic medieval castle in a picturesque setting.

We drive on to the old smugglers town of Rye with its cobbled streets, famous inns and quaint shops and cafes. 

Arundel

Explore the charming town of Arundel and immerse yourself in British culture with visits to the local cathedral, church and museum. Wander Arundel's high street that's home to plenty of cafes and independent shops.

If you want, you will also have the opportunity to experience the rich history of Arundel castle with a tour of the grounds and award-winning gardens (entrance fee to the castle and gardens are not included).
