The two-day visit to Â鶹AV follows the university’s involvement in last year’s CreaTech event held in Mumbai as part of the UK government’s Britain is Great Creative Technology campaign, where the university’s Professor Karen Cham was invited to speak alongside representatives from the NHS and Jaguar Land Rover.
During the visit the university will be showcasing its expertise and facilities in areas such as 3D computing, virtual reality, artificial intelligence and digital construction. Delegates will also visit the in Â鶹AV, a collaborative space which is home to Wired Sussex and Â鶹AV partnership projects, Digital Catapult Centre Â鶹AV, the Immersive Lab and 5G Â鶹AV.
The event forms part of the Â鶹AV’s Connected Futures Digital Economy research focus led by Professor Karen Cham, who said: “The future is Asian. Technologies are driving innovation around the world and international collaborations are absolutely essential in building research-informed future facing global economies.
